Senior Manufacturing Engineer

As a member of our manufacturing engineering team, the ideal candidate will have skills in the following areas:

  • Possess a BSMfgE or BSME with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing engineering experience in a high technology manufacturing industry.
  • Strong background in the following technology areas: Electrical system wiring, gas flow controls, precision machining, high vacuum systems, vacuum leak detection, logic controls programming, clean room requirements and protocols.
  • Must be capable of investigating engineering problems during fabrication, test, and assembly operations, and recommend appropriate corrective action.
  • Must have demonstrated moderate to strong expertise with CAD software - specifically SolidWorks.
  • Develop manufacturing plans, test equipment documentation including cost proposals.
  • Will be responsible for providing continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and transferring NEXX systems level products to various outsourcing vendors as required.
  • Must have hands on capability in the areas of hand tools and assembly techniques, providing mechanical/electrical floor support.
  • Product Data Management (PDM) experience would be a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational development, with attention to detail.
  • Education: The ideal candidate will have at a minimum a BS degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
